I think pets are a good feature, though it exposes your position if you're peeking from the side with the pets, but if one doesn't mind the slight disadvantage it is a unique feature as the last popular awp server that had it was SNG and that's about 4/5 years back! So having it will definitely be a refreshing feature as other current servers do not have it!

I think awp_obstruct and awp_slaughter should be removed, there is too much rng in the obstruct, if you get a good spawn you basically kill half the other team the moment the round starts. awp_slaughter is a rather small map imo and it is normally played without bhop, the moment more than 10 players are in awp slaughter everything becomes very messy, at least from my experience.
  3. To my understanding other servers reduced the brightness by themselves. I can try looking for a version that already has the brightness lowered tomorrow.
  4. imo if all these modes were added it would be a complete replica of the existing gaster awp, and if that's the case I'm sure people are just going to keep playing gaster and would not try gcg's awp. Maybe what we need are new special round types like what monke stated (snowball), etc. ehe also although I think anti camp might be a good feature, camping is imo a playstyle and players should be able to play how they like. Then again it is an idea 🙂 Still any suggestions are potential ideas / gimmicks and I'll leave it to the community and the staffs!

  6. I agree with Hibiki here, collision should be turned on, not only does it stop people from abusing the knife, but it enables plenty more angles with player boost (lots of maps have angles and spots that utilise boosting

  10. Im not sure if it was an issue caused by spread and if it has been fixed since I've left an hour ago but I'll be sure to check it out tomorrow. If it is still present I'll be glad to show you what I mean for further clarity :)
  11. In terms of what Salo has said, I personally think maps should still be campable but at the same time give you the option to rush if you desire. Both camping and rushing are but a playstyle and I think the maps should give the players an option to play however they want, regardless of their playstyle. On another note, I definitely agree with Salo here on the no spread and I think it should be removed. Once again I am aware the server is but a little baby buttcheek :)

I know the server is only at its infancy stage, but I think the speed while holding and peeking with the awp should be changed back to the default speed and not the speed of the scout right now. I am 100% sure it will throw off the majority of the players just like it has thrown me off kekw. Another reason why I think it should be default is because awp maps were designed whilst taking into consideration the speed of people peeking with the length / size of the various objects on the maps. Hence with the way it is now with the scouts' speed, it is much harder to utilise the headshot angles or just plain covers on the maps as we are simply moving too fast (whether we wide swing, jiggle peek etc). I don't know if y'all can understand me but iykyk.

  15. I have been playing awp servers for 6 years now, reached the top ranks in almost every awp server in asia. As well as top ranks in a couple of eu and NA awp servers. Was admin and mod for a few as well. If you need any help feel free to ask me I'd be more than happy to help out.
